House in Order: an Expression of Love
A letter from Feisal, September 2026.

Dear Friends,
How are you? Life in flow?
Last mile excellence with only 3 months in 2026.
Make them count.
As a next gen in a family enterprise, I grew up with the narrative that it was vital to protect the family wealth and pass it on to the bloodline.
Iron clad pre-nups/post-nups and clear bloodline wealth transfer through holdings, trusts or simple wills depending on the jurisdiction was expected as a responsible family member.
It made sense and felt well intended.
As a result, I put my house in order at 28 yrs old.
This foundation was supportive during the uncertainty of my survival with my experience of stage 3 cancer and then provided clarity during my divorce.
I felt I was now a seasoned veteran as I prepared to get married to my beloved who completes me. Boy was I in for a surprise.
I projected my lack in trust in myself, life and others onto her as we moved through the paperwork as both being responsible now gen family members.
It was one of the most uncomfortable experiences we moved through.
I seeked guidance and support from my inner circle as I was triggered beyond anything I imagined.
Things remained icky until I shifted the intention of the process into an expression of love and care for my beloved.
The shift from me to we changed how we engaged and the outcome felt aligned and supportive.
How was your experience as you moved through the necessary paperwork?
Is the outcome an expression of love and care for your loved ones while being a responsible family member?
Does the person who is not the bread earner feel financially secure if one of you chooses differently or passes?
I spend time with now gen family members, who have done their responsible duties of pre-nups and structures, and are now trying to find balance to financially secure their spouses who are not the main bread earners as they feel financially insecure.
This insecurity is being projected into the family system and the next generation.
Wish you a beautiful last quarter.
With love and gratitude,
feisal

Sleep Is Your Superpower
In a world that often celebrates busyness, we rarely consider what we sacrifice when we sleep less. Matt Walker’s research reveals that sleep is far more than rest. It is the foundation of clear thinking, emotional balance, physical health, and longevity. Just one night of insufficient sleep can significantly weaken the immune system and impair our ability to learn and remember. Over time, poor sleep affects nearly every aspect of wellbeing. His message is both simple and profound: sleep is not time lost. It is one of the most important investments we can make in ourselves, our relationships, and our future.

The Small Steps That Have a Big Impact on Achieving Goals
Behavioural research suggests that meaningful points in time, such as the beginning of a new month, season, school term, or year, can create a “fresh start effect,” increasing our readiness to begin or re-engage with important goals. September offers precisely this kind of natural reset: an opportunity to review our 2026 intentions and choose what matters most for the months ahead. For a short overview of the fresh start effect, read Wharton’s article on the science of meaningful new beginnings.

The Untethered Soul - Michael Singer
Some books are timeless, and The Untethered Soul by Michael Singer is one worth revisiting. What if the greatest obstacle to inner peace is not the world around us, but the constant voice within us? Singer reveals that freedom begins when we stop identifying with every thought, fear, and judgment that passes through our mind. Rather than trying to control life, we can learn to observe our inner experience with openness and awareness.
As we release old patterns and resistance, we discover greater inner peace, clarity, and joy. The book’s central message is both simple and transformative: lasting peace is not something we find outside ourselves; it is something we uncover within. From that place of inner peace, we create space for greater freedom, love, resilience, and authentic connection.
Though written years ago, its wisdom remains as relevant today as ever. The journey to lasting wellbeing begins within, where a quieter mind opens the door to a more meaningful and fulfilling life.

Quotes to Inspire
“The only thing you want from life is to feel enthusiasm, joy, and love. If you can feel that all the time, then who cares what happens outside because it no longer controls your inner state.”
Michael A Singer
Love involves openness, embracing one another’s differences, and a spirit of inclusivity. It’s about “we,” not just “me.”
